Flashback Caruso return in 2016, with their first ever release as a full band!

The legendary Trondheim-based psychedelic adventurers have released three albums to date -- 'Volume I', 'Volume II', and a self-titled vinyl-only compilation -- though these were both recorded before the full band was assembled, so frontman and multi-instrumentalist Anders Bjermeland handled all of the instrumental duties himself.

-- It should also be noted that, in the spring of 2015, Bjermeland released an album under the Mollmaskin moniker, called 'Heartbreak In ((Stereo))', where he also played all the instruments. This stunning double album was praised very highly, including by Prog Magazine, who said: "Bathed in incandescent Canterbury configurations. What a debut.". Several of the songs were also played on national and international radio. --

But back to now! In the autumn of 2016, Flashback Caruso are ready to put out their brooding and beautiful full-band-debut album into the world.

'The Flashback Caruso Memorial Barbecue' was recorded live to sixteen-track tape in the legendary Brygga Studio, in Trondheim. For those who have witnessed the magic that happens when these seven guys step onto a stage, now you'll be able to experience that in your living room, as recording the album live allowed them to focus on capturing the energy they'd become known for.

Set across 50 minutes, the album showcases all of their many facets, from the sunshine pop of 'Going Home', to the gorgeous melancholy of 'Levitation Song', to the harder-edged 'Raggazza Italiano', to the progressive-tinged 'Aqualung Boy'.
